Electrical Engineer for Body Network Control (m/f)

Job description:
Continental develops Body Network Controllers (BNC) for all major car manufacturers and is global market leader in this field. What is a BNC? The BNC is the main intelligent unit controlling interior of modern passenger cars – access into the car, door unlock/lock, light control, wiper control, gathering and distributing information.
We are responsible to develop full products, including all disciplines – now also from Novi Sad.
- Be involved in complete product development, including component selection, simulations, schematic design, prototyping, design/product validation, qualification in laboratories (EMC & Environmental tests), documentation, preparation for mass production in Continental factories
- Access and work with a local and international network of experts
- Get the chance to see ideas come to life, and be involved in the whole development process from concept definition to the final product
- Work on hardware development of next-generation automotive products, like: body control module, intelligent antenna, light control units, car gateways, IoT for automotive, etc.
- Work in excellent condition with high-end equipment and chance to acquire advanced knowledge from electronics
- Collaborate with a variety of car manufacturers, from large corporations to companies that target a niche market
- Have the opportunity to gain full responsibility for the complete module or project, even at a worldwide level
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, etc.).
- Very good electrical engineering skills (design of schematics, layout, simulations, testing…)
- Experience in real life project development
- Knowledge of how to use measurement and testing equipment
- Automotive experience is an advantage
- Radio frequency knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work and to communicate within a team
- Good verbal and writing skills in English
