HR Specialist

Fundamental purpose of the role: HR Specialist is responsible for ensuring successful performance of teams at all levels of the company in Novi Sad. He/she will be responsible for planning, hiring and retaining motivated and qualified personnel in order to satisfy MENU business objectives. Together with management he/she will define employee roles, tasks and accountabilities, monitor employee performance, ensure successful internal communication including organizing team building initiatives and training events. Together with management, he/she will be working on improving the work processes, creating results-based learning culture as well as ensuring that every employee in the company lives company’s values.

The key functions of HR Specialist include:

• In collaboration with management of the company ensuring smooth and effective people administration, recruitment, on-boarding and performance improvement processes
• Implementing IT talent sourcing initiatives – such as attending career fairs and presenting career opportunities in MENU through wide range of information and communication channels
• Ensuring that MENU is seen as a great place to work, offering possibilities to learn and to grow
• Achieving positive employee experience and successful internal communication
• Ensuring transparent and successful assessment of employee performance and introducing appropriate solutions during quarterly and annual employee appraisals

Requirements:

• University qualification in HRM, sociology, education or other similar area
• Extensive experience in the broad range of HR functions in an international business organization
• Very strong knowledge of Serbian Labor Law, local HR administration processes and procedures
• Experience in successful IT talent sourcing and acquisition
• Very strong communication and people skills
• Positive and service-oriented personality with a “can do” attitude and a sense of humor
• Strong leadership skills including ability to work under pressure, multitask and ensure smooth and successful team work
• Successful self-management of own workload under minimum supervision, great skills in giving and receiving feedback, conflict management and adaptability
• Proficiency in English, knowledge of German is an advantage
• Administration skills including handling of job application documents, contracts,employee files, performance reports etc. and creation of presentations
• Experience of working as a coach/a trainer for improvement of business skills of employees: I.e. leadership, communication, change management is an advantage
