Plant Cost Engineer
 (located in Smederevo)

Job description:

• Creating the Bill of Material (BOM) based on customer designs and standards
• Creating the BOL for quotation calculation
• Creating Global Item Master / Global Part Number (GIM)
• Handling material data and structures in COP and ERP for quotation and production use
• Identifying open technical topics and questions regarding structures and components
• Making sure that customer demands and standards are taken into account in quotation calculation
• Follow agreed processes for Material Code creation, Standard Time System, RFQ Process and develop current process further
• Updates and analyses the STD BOMs and BOLs for Change RFQ (ECO, EFR, DER, ECR, etc.) calculation, preparing data for Engineering Change module in CWISE (item BOM/BOL, change description)
• Approves and releases the STD BOMs and BOLs for Changes (ECO, EFR, DER, etc.) to production after impact calculation and agreement from Sales
• Supports Central Costing in RFQ process and new product/component creation when needed

Required conditions: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Earlier work experience in similar role in manufacturing industry and knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process and components is strong advantage
• Strong in problem solving and proactive mind-set
• Ability to quickly analyze data and present conclusions
• Enthusiastic and pleasant personality, can-do attitude and excellent team working skills
• Fluency in English language both written and spoken
