Senior Analyst FP&A for South Central Europe

Belgrade

Main Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: 

  • Being in charge of all stances of planning, budgeting and forecasting, including weekly/monthly outlooks, of the supervised Category, as well as system submissions supporting the Category FP&A Manager. 
  • Providing management with detailed analysis of the deviations vs other forecasts, prior periods and actual results. Tracking the category’s KPI’s and alert management in case of deviations from the set targets, strategy.
  • Building effective communication and provide guidance to the category marketing team together with the Category FP&A Manager in the Hub. 
  • Ensuring the integrity of the used databases (e.g. OPAL, FiT, BI) in the supervised Category.
  • Coordinating and executing Operations Units P&L reporting for actual and forecast scenarios. 
  • Providing appropriate guidance to Operations Units in questions related to planning and reporting. 
  • Being part of project teams, new launches and other multi-functional projects’ teams, providing support in terms of project evaluation and expert advice (i.e. setting up a financial model, collecting input, making estimation and commenting on the main KPIs of the project).
  • Liaise with local and regional management in undertaking and completing regular and ad hoc requests related to the Category together with the Category FP&A Manager.
  • Supporting other functions with consultations and advise to improve functional decision making (e.g. estimation of financial impact driven by different outstanding options).
  • Promoting financial knowledge and literacy to non-finance functions by providing advice, consulting, trainings (general and specific), participating in developing web-courses and educating materials.

Knowledge including: education, qualifications and training:

  • University degree in economics, finance or management accounting, or applied mathematics 
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP
  • Knowledge of modern multinational business environment and understanding of cross-functional relationship and information flow
  • CFA/CIMA or similar professional qualification - may be in final stage of qualification (is a plus)

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Willing to participate in cross-functional projects
  • Proficient PC skills. Knowledge of databases (Oracle is a plus). 
  • Advanced user of MS Excel (a must)

Experience:

  • 4+ years working experience in management accounting / financial planning/ projects in a multinational business environment.
  • Previous FP&A experience is considered an advantage
