Technical Presales Consultant

So we are looking for someone who is self-driven, energetic and hands-on, with a „can do“ attitude.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Works on leads/opportunities assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on productivity and profit.
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support delivery and technology software vendors to align solution design with customer’s business requirements.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned solutions, market areas or delivery teams supported.
- Provides answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) jointly with technical staff.
- Identifies potential POC projects and develop POC scope and objectives with client and delivery unit in order to prove solution feasibility and award a contract.
Qualifications
- 5+ years pre-sales technical support experience in a enterprise segment.
- 5+ years experience presenting and demonstrating business benefits and value to a customer of desired technical solution.
- 8+ years experience translating technical and business requirements into cost-efficient solutions.
- Experience with a various range of applications (e.g. DWH, BI, Analytics, ECM, CRM)
- Experience with middleware concepts and technologies (SOA, BPM, ESB)

- Strong social and networking skills
- Solid organization, communication and interpersonal skills are imperative
- Excellent presentation and value-oriented sales skills
- Possess a strong work ethic, proactivity and requires little supervision
