Vaccines Customer Solution Specialist

The role: 

The Vaccines Customer Solution Specialist is the MSD Vaccines point of contact in the allocated region. In collaboration and alignment with the vaccines team, he /she needs to provide a highly effective customer experience delivering value to patients, payers and physicians and become a trusted partner. With reporting line to the Vaccines Unite Lead, he/she is in charge for business results within assigned territory, achieving sales targets, business plan development and evaluation of accomplishments.

Based on high level of scientific/clinical knowledge the Vaccines Customer Solution Specialist provides approved disease & therapeutic solutions to selected Customers and creates long term relationships with Key Scientific Leaders on the assigned territory.

The Vaccines Customer Solution specialist is responsible for customer prioritization, goals setting for priority customers and evaluation of achievements through regular market and sales data analytics.

He/ she proactively identifies business opportunities, supports appropriate execution and understands current state and evolving landscape of integrated payers in the country.

The vaccines Customer Solution Specialist implements marketing strategy in collaboration with marketing Lead and provides timely feedback on impact. As active member of cross functional team within MSD on projects that respond to customers and business needs, he/ she assures highest ethical principles conducting local law and MSD procedures and regulations.

The successful applicant:

• Medical background: Pharmacy/Medicine
• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience within pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in primary care environment is preferable
• Ability to manage key external stakeholders, to influence without authority and to create and carry out action plans in matrix, cross functional team structures
• Exhibit strong communication, problem solving, project planning and analytical skills
• Fluent in conversational and written English
• PC literacy
• Valid driving license
